In mid-June, as a result of the new regulation established by the Panama Canal, Crosscomar completed the installation of a new bitt & corresponding reinforcement on the stern of a LNG Vessel.
The modification of the mooring system was carried out during sailing from Algeciras to Cartagena (Spain).
As previously done, Crosscomar deployed an experienced team and the service was completed efficiently.
At the end of May, Crosscomar carried out the modification of the mooring system on board a LNG Vessel at Skagen port, Denmark.
This modification was needed in order Vessel to fulfill with the new regulation established by the Panama Canal.
For this service, Crosscomar deployed a team of specialized workers with experience in vessels structural modifications (new bitts installation, Panama guides with corresponding reinforcements).
Additionally, it can be highlighted that Owners and attending Class Society Surveyor, took advantage of the good services provided by Crosscomar and requested more structural modifications on the spot.
During the month of May, Crosscomar carried out the repairs of a cargo heater of a Crude Oil Vessel of 120.000 DWT at the port of Algeciras (Spain).
The job consisted mainly in restructuring the inferior area of the cooler (that was showing abrasion and corrosion) by inserting HP pipe. After this, a hydrostatic test with 15 bars was done with satisfactory results.

At the beginning of May, Crosscomar carried out the repairs of the main HFO pipe line connection with bunker plug, during the maiden voyage of a Cruise Vessel, sailing from Malaga and disembarking at the port of La Coruña (Spain).
The replacement of the pipe line was necessary due to a misalignment between different lines and also to the mechanical forced of it.
Also fabrication and renewal of the axial expansion joint of the line was done. It is to be noted the quality, efficiency and safety of the repair of such a critical system (bunker main line) and also to be highlighted that our service did not cause any interferences with the sailing, what is a crucial factor in this kind of services.
